Does the filter trap mold spores?

The HEPA filter can trap mold spores but does not kill them. The purifier will help with the spread of mold once airborne, however, it will not clean the surface of the mold.

Do the filters collect pet hair?

We love our pets, but not the dander or fur that they shed. Our filters will collect pet hair and dandruff. This will significantly reduce the amount of pet hair that settled on the furniture, floors, and your clothes.

What is the difference between the True HEPA and the H13 True HEPA filter for the HSP001?

Our original True HEPA filter contains H11 HEPA, which filters 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.

Our H13 True HEPA filter features a better H13 HEPA filter, which filters everything the H11 filter can, plus 99.95% of particles between 0.3 microns and 0.1 microns. These smaller particles make up a lot of harmful pollutants like virus carriers, insecticides, asbestos, and tobacco smoke.

We suggest that you sign up for our Filter Club. New HSP001 Replacement (H13 True HEPA) filters are delivered to your door, right when you need them.

What makes the HSP001 different than the other models?

The main difference is the room size coverage. The HSP001 is designed for rooms up to 700 square feet.

Smart air purifier – In AUTO mode, a smart air quality sensor detects pollutants in your air, adjusting the fan speed in real time. A digital display on the unit reveals your air quality level. Nothing feels better than clean air!

Our 5-in-1 filter system targets pollen, dust, pet dander, VOCs, smoke, and odors. Our H11 HEPA filter captures 99.9% of particles down to 0.3 microns.

What makes the HSP002 different than the other models?

Breathe easier with H13 True HEPA filtration technology. Hathaspace HSP0032 air purifiers provide pure air for everyone. The HSP002 will cycle all air in a 1500 sq ft room 1x per hour and in a 350 sq ft room 2x per hour based on an 8ft ceiling height.

Our award-winning HSP002 features 5-stage HEPA filtration, washable pre-filter, laser air quality sensor, real-time PM2.5 monitor, and whisper quiet fan.

Enjoy energy-efficient ‘auto-mode’ to automatically adjust fan speed for real-time air quality needs and save money. Turn off the display light, initiate a sleep timer mode, and adjust the fan speed with ease.

Do you offer H11 True HEPA for the HSP002?

No, we only offer H13 True HEPA for our HSP002 air purifier. This is a better and higher-quality filter.

Superior to standard true H11 HEPA filters, H13 True HEPA can filter particles down to 0.1 microns in diameter.

Designed for the HSP002 Smart True HEPA Air Purifier 2.0, this filter removes 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns and 99.95% of particles between 0.3 - 0.1 microns. These include but are not limited to pollen, dust, pet dander, tobacco smoke, odors, VOCs, and more.

Can I run a purifier while it’s on the carpet?

Yes, as long as the surface is stable and dry you can place the purifier on any surface.

Can I keep my purifier running while my windows are open?

Yes, you may continue to operate your purifier with open windows. However, since the air purifier is circulating air throughout the room, it may be pulling outdoor particles inside your space, negatively impacting your indoor air quality.

My HSP002 has a high PM index and a 500 code. How can I fix this?

The precision laser sensor used in your HSP002 purifier is sensitive and constantly reads real-time data. Occasionally, it can get disrupted when dust clogs the inside, resulting in a high PM index reading such as in your case.

You can clean the sensor to fix this reading. To do so:

  1. Open the sensor door using a small screwdriver.
  2. Disconnect the sensor by removing the cord.
  3. Use canned air to clean out the sensor from the front towards the back.
  4. Reconnect the sensor and close the door.

Click play on the video below to see these cleaning steps.

How do I set my HSP003 air purifier to auto-mode?

Press and hold the “fan speed” button for 3 seconds and you will enter auto-mode. Auto-mode will automatically adjust the fan speed based on the air quality level.

What do the numbers on the front panel of the HSP003 air purifier mean?
